Lutheranch provides safe, fun and affordable beginner and intermediate horseback riding lessons for youth and adults. We offer a place for riders of all ages to learn the basics, develop a secure seat and practice good horsemanship on the ground and under saddle.

Details:

Meeting for one hour each week, recreational riding lessons are offered for riders ages five and up. All lessons are taught by an instructor certified with PATH International or CHA.

Lutheranch is offering 6-week lesson sessions in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.

Cost:

$270/6-week session

Due to COVID-19, we are now offering private lessons at the regular group lesson rate.

Therapeutic riding uses equine assisted activities for the purpose of contributing positively to cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of people with disabilities. Specially trained instructors and volunteers help riders to achieve horseback riding goals while experiencing benefits such as improved gross and fine motor movement, social skills, attention span and academic and cognitive proficiency.

Lutheranch is a PATH International Member Center and all instructors are PATH International Therapeutic Riding Instructors.

We provide trained guides, friendly horses and over 500 private acres of beautiful terrain to explore. Our $55 per person, two hour equestrian experience includes a safety briefing on the ground, a short arena lesson, approximately one hour on the trails and time for photos both on and off your horse.

Southeast Arena And Trail (SEAT) Series Competitive Rides

Do you have your own horse? Are you ready to have some fun with friends and see what your horse can do on the trail? Join us for a SEATS ride at Lutheranch. Test your horse’s skills on a six mile trail ride with six judged obstacles. Or, try our Arena Challenge with eight judged obstacles in an enclosed arena. SEATS rides focus on safety and fun and include divisions for junior, novice, intermediate and advanced riders.
