Your camper will learn what is involved in being a summer camp wrangler and will spend all day, every day at the barn. Your camper will assist with daily barn chores such as feeding and caring for horses. Under the direct supervision or Lutheranch’s trained and certified equestrian staff, your camper will assist with elementary and middle school horse camp by leading horses, teaching campers how to groom and tack and assisting with riding lessons.
Wranglers in training will also have a chance to work on their own riding skills with a daily riding lesson and lessons in how to fit tack, equine nutrition, training horses and more.
Overnight wranglers in training will stay in Holy Trinity House with their counselor and other horse campers and will grow in their faith through daily Bible Study and worship.
